ENCUMBRANCE Just a quick method for handling Encumbrance. Instead of six or so degrees of Encumbrance, BEz narrows it down to just three. This rule also adds adjustments for Strength, based in the idea that it just makes sense that someone with a STR of 18 should be able to carry much more than Lars Efrajson.

Coins = 1 cn Gems = 1 cn Potions = 10 cn Scrolls = 1 cn
Everything else is uses the cn value in the appropriate tables.

This means that a character with a STR of 11, and carrying 450 cn of treasure and equipment would move at 75% his normal movement rate, or 90 ft / turn. A character with a strength of 16, carrying the same 450cn load, would move at 100% of his normal speed (or 120 ft / turn).
