Average Hit Points
Rolling HP for every monster is basically a pain. To lighten their pre-game load a bit, many DM's just use the average value for the given HD. BE+ take the step of quantifying this in a handy table.
HD .......... AVG HP
Up to 1 ....... 5
1+ to 2 ....... 9
2+ to 3 ...... 14
3+ to 4 ...... 18
4+ to 5 ...... 23
5+ to 6 ...... 27
6+ to 7 ...... 32
7+ to 8 ...... 36
8+ to 9 ...... 41
9+ to 10 ..... 45
